Old houses
A friend came with her meter to check all our electrical outlets. She found a bunch that weren’t grounded. That means more emf exposure. For $350 we had the issue corrected by an electrician.
I can feel the difference!
My new pans
I bought 2 easy-to-clean skillets, a brand name recommended in Dr Mark Hyman’s bestselling cookbook. A survivor of mercury poisoning, he’s quite particular
about what’s going down his gullet.
Sanctuary
After 10 years of joyfully serving with a biofield therapy at the GISA Healing Sanctuary in Hampton, I stopped going. There surely are more cars on the road. But driving behaviors have changed too. One Friday night after I swerved to safety avoiding an oncoming car, the neighbor in my car prayed all the way home.
Update: After lockdown all those involved will be glad to participate in-person once again.

Lymph Nodes and Vessels Are Part of Our Immune System
Our lymphatic system runs from the tops of our heads to our feet. It moves more slowly than our circulatory system with which it exchanges fluid to be cleansed of pathogens, toxins, and metabolic waste. It helps us fight infections by producing white blood cells. It helps maintain fluid balance.
The lymph system along with the spleen, thymus gland, and bone marrow are the major parts of our immune system. The lymph system consists of lymph vessels and 600-700 lymph nodes. Nodes vary from pinhead to olive size. Many are clustered like grapes. 30% are in and around the neck.
Promote Wellness with Lymphatic Drainage
Manual lymphatic drainage is a specialized form of body work where an artful therapist uses hands-on techniques to facilitate breaking up of congestion or sluggishness in the lymph system. Methods include repetitive light touch at lymph node sites and sequenced light strokes along lymph vessels. This relaxing therapy promotes wellness and reduces pain.
Benefits Can Include
- stimulate the immune system
- help chronic fatigue
- help detox process
- activate the fluid system
- induce relaxation
Contraindications (conditions which rule out using this therapy) include:
- seizures
- cardiac arrythmias
- persistent digestive problems

Get Better Sleep: Turn Off Electrical Devices Near Your Bed
Today’s Health Tip:
Turn off the electric circuitry around your bed. Give yourself a 4-foot buffer from the effects of electric wiring during your sleep time. Electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) coming from the electrical wiring around your bed can disrupt the pineal gland, which produces melatonin and serotonin—both involved in getting a good night’s sleep.

I usually serve once a month as an unpaid healer in Hampton through GISA Healing Sanctuary – where people are treated in a group setting. Physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual issues may be addressed. The Sanctuary has offered comfort and support to people in the area for some 20 years without charge. There are those who come year after year.

Grief can be a long, lonely, agonizing experience. If you’re someone who’s introverted or painfully shy, a grief support group is not attractive. Maybe words don’t come easily to you. Maybe you don’t want anyone to see you cry—men especially can be like that.
Healing energy work can alleviate grief without speaking, maybe without crying, and if desired, without physical touch. One person I worked on was unable to have good night’s sleep for over a month after the death of her husband. After the first session, she reported having a great night’s sleep! What a gift it is for me to be doing this beautiful work!
