Is fun at the Chesapeake Bay part of your plans for in during the lockdown?  Environmentalists are worried about the mercury (a potent neurotoxin) level in the fish people are catching and eating in the area.  The Environmental Protection Agency says the mercury level in the striped bass is too high right now.  It is a popular choice on the menu of the area restaurants.  Trout and ?creek chub are better choices, the article says.

This comes from the Chesapeake Bay Journal, July/August 2020, page 27 which you can easily read online.

(See entry “Shade” 10/27/19 about Christopher Shade, Ph D and his testing mercury levels.)

to promote health for now and the future:

Life as we knew it has changed – even before the lockdown.

Phyllis  Balch, CNC, Prescription for Nutritional Healing, (2010), 5th ed. practical A to Z reference book to drug free remedies using vitamins, minerals, herbs, & food supplements.  My mom’s reaction was, “Where did you get such a thing?”.  The information has been here.

Mark Breiner, DDS, Whole Body Dentistry, (2011) went through the state of Connecticut’s court system to practice dentistry without mercury.  This is at times a report of his tearful evolution into a dentist for now and the future.  I gave copies through DAMS to local Virginia libraries.

Michael Castleman, Blended Medicine, (2000) promotes health looking at many angles and gives introductions to therapeutic methods outside the corporate medical world.

Burton Goldberg, Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, Lyme Disease (environmental illness) (2004). Here is the voice of alternative medicine leading the way out of these chronic maladies.  The possibility of treacherous teeth is included.

Christiane Northrup, MD, Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom, focuses on what can go right with your female body.  An integrative OB-GYN, she has delivered many babies and gave birth to several.  She’s been writing about female topics for 40 years.  This book is nearly1000! pages.  She has included emotions and energy in her approach to promoting health, for which  she has been criticized.  I agree with her.  As a young doctor she was worried about talking about prenatal vitamins to her patients.  She was on the right track.

Stephen Sinatra, MD an integrative holistic cardiologist (heart specialist) has written a bunch of paperbacks to guide to the future with less medical drama.  He thinks Americans don’t need to be as sick as we are.  I agree.

Nick Pinault, The Non-Tinfoil Guide to EMFs (electromagnetic frequencies) (2017).  This is included because we are living in a world of unprecedented exposure to electromagnetic frequencies.  Integrated holistic medical doctors (like Dietrich Klinghardt) already know the first place to reduce/eliminate electronics is in the bedroom.

Norman Shealy, MD, PhD, Energy Medicine, (2011) founder of American Holistic Medical Association guides through what he calls “practical, safe, and effective” approaches to promoting health.  He has seen and experienced what he is writing about.  So have I.  Craniosacral therapy, for example, done here at Innovative Pain Release, has been going on in this country for some forty years.

Nature’s way

Plants and critters here are changing. Environmentalists say this is due to climate change which is due to pollution. The Virginia Cooperative Extension has been quite helpful to me. They can test the soil for a nominal fee – or they can contact someone locally to talk to about various creatures on your property.

Holistic again

This is worth repeating. Before and after this lockdown
there is mercury poisoning. There isn’t any form of it that is not poisonous.
The Holistic Oral Summit will be offered online from July 20 to 26th. Learn how to talk with your dentist about promoting your health. (You might need to switch your dentist.)
