Practical
A few practical health books for now and the future:
Prescription for Nutritional Healing (5th Ed) Phyllis Balch, CNC The earlier edition containing the same subjects had a second author with an MD. Bought this years ago in my neighborhood where they also had a pharmacy. Good beginning reference. Different versions being sold, get the complete one of over 300 pages.
Whole Body Dentistry (2011) Mark Breiner, DDS. This dentist and author fought for 2 years in the state of Connecticut court system to practice mercury-free & mercury safe dentistry. The book covers many dental issues so you can read along to help you make decisions with your dentist or choose another dentist. You can familiarize yourself with dental issues at toxicteeth.org. There is a petition there to ban mercury “silver fillings”/“amalgam”. Members of Dental Amalgam Mercury Solutions distributed this text to peninsula libraries years ago.
Women’s Bodies, Women’s Wisdom (2020) Christiane Northrup, MD “What can go right with your body” bestseller has over a thousand pages. An obstetrician gynecologist she began early on talking to her patients about nutrition as her father, a dentist, had done. She opened up her mind and heart to their destructive emotional experiences. She also speaks as a daughter and mother in the text.
The Wisdom of Menopause (2021) Christiansen Northrup, MD. The revised 4th edition is now available.
The Non-Tinfoil Guide to EMFs (2017) Nicholas Pineault. The 21st century technology is exploding and eroding our health. You don’t need to be an engineer or scientist to follow along here to reduce your daily exposure. It’s organized as a reference tool. Begin with the bedroom. The Environmental Health Trust has great posters showing where the hazards are. You can print them off and share with others. (The Federal Communications Commission has not looked at the electronics we are surrounded by since 1996.)
