Renovating here

Old buildings are being renovated all around town, including houses in my neighborhood.  Before 1978 paint had lead, a detail I learned near the cash register at the Tractor Supply.  Mercury was banned from paints in 1989.  It is colorless, odorless, and tasteless and it was or may still be in those old medicine cabinets as thermometers.  If you are renovating, this piece reprinted from a DAMS newsletter may come in handy.  (see description of DAMS group in 1/23/21).

Print direction reflects my continuing struggle with technology.
