D.T., an MD, was the first one to tell me about getting downtime from electronics to promote health.  She was bold enough to tell some ailing folks they needed to clean their mouths out of all toxic dental hardware.  She conducted a fibromyalgia support group for a while.  She participated in an energy healing circle at my house.

A.F. She educated one-on-one about dental mercury (“silver fillings”/“amalgam”)  She got signatures on a petition to ban it.  She collaborated with others to get bills for state and federal legislation against dental mercury.  Unfortunately nothing passed.

E.L.  She had had a dramatic improvement in her health after having mercury safely taken out of her mouth and being chelated (a cleaning out process) by a medical doctor.  She shared those facts with others.  She began educating the grocery store personnel about the importance of gluten-free foods.  She wrote a cook book about what she called “comfort foods” without gluten.  She sold it on the peninsula.  Unfortunately she wasn’t able to penetrate the consciousness of the medical folks during her short hospital stay and rehab time.  I  I I  brought her gluten-free foods from my gluten-free kitchen.

S.W.  He put together holistic health directories of peninsula businesses.  He put together 2 holistic health fairs here.  Unfortunately, not many folks attended.  He’s coaching other cancer survivors beyond “this berg”.

C.R.  She shared her health promoting enthusiasm by learning some of the natural methods.  She shared massage therapy, flower essences for emotions, and other hands-on techniques (some she learned from class with Dietrich Klinghardt, MD!).  She transported a bunch of folks outside Virginia to look at jaw bone alignment and possible correction.

C.R.  She did massage therapy and helped other practitioners to look at ways to grow their businesses.  I believe she’s the one who introduced essential oils to this town as aromatherapy.

A.G.  an MD, is the most noted in this writing.  Shunned by many in his medical peer group, he was able to diagnose mercury poisoning and other problems with heavy metals.  His own mercury poisoning got him to these topics.  He helped many with chelation, some with a natural blend he developed.  Good results reported in Townsend Letter.  He was a guest speaker at 2010 W&M Mercury Expo with DAMS.  (See entry Aug 20).

B.C.  She did massage therapy.  She gave me my very first massage where I experienced her healing presence.  She introduced me to energy healing.  She introduced David Herring to craniosacral work, which he now does at Innovative Pain Release.

M.F.  Virginia native and life-long, she represented mercury-poisoned people to the Virginia General Assembly and the US Congress.  She has participated in several Earth Days at W&M, most notably the 4 day Mercury Expo in 2010.  She served previously as president of the international group, DAMS (See entry, DAMS).

Congresswoman J.D. responded to constituents’ concern about mercury in dental “amalgam”/“silver fillings”.  She saw petition signatures while still a member of the state General Assembly.  After being elected to Congress she banded with others to present a bill to ban mercury in dental fillings.  She remained steadfast in her commitment to getting this bill passed in spite of pressure from the Virginia Dental Association.  No law passed. 😔

J W returned to his hometown to be near his elderly parent.  Became alarmed to discover parent taking 14 meds!  After completion of his med training, he left to put himself to work in a different population.

Hemp

Sprinkling the hemp seeds (from Trader’s Joe’s) supplies some fiber to the diet (for regular bowel movements) and and supplies many nutrients. It also helps protect from the electronic environment. That I learned at a talk given by Dr Tom Giammatteo, cofounder of the School for Integrative Manual Therapy in Connecticut. Start with even less than a teaspoon.

Hemp clothing gives some protection against the electronic world. Your skin can breathe better wearing it too. I haven’t found found any clothing here in town. (But that doesn’t mean there isn’t any.). I have ordered from earthcreations.net. Nice sales. They wear well.

For knitting I bought from WEBS online. I used simple stitches to make a piece, but it didn’t lie like a piece made from other more common fibers😕.

Breakfast

?The most important meal of the day.  Mark Hyman, MD, my mother, and many others believe that.

What is Dr Hyman guiding others to eat for breakfast in the midst of our country’s diabesity epidemic?

What he eats.  Eggs or a nutritious shake.  Not sugar, high fructose corn syrup (HFCS), or items loaded with gluten (carbohydrate).  In one word – PROTEIN with other nutritious tasty details. You can watch him on You Tube with his “whole food protein shake”.  It tastes good even with fewer ingredients.  He has a bestselling cook book, The Blood Sugar Solution.  It’s worthwhile even without diabetes or obesity.  It lead me to brand names for non-stick pans without PFAS (toxic).
